Before you call

Fees, timelines and confidentiality

Straight answers about fees, timing and confidentiality, from first call onward.

How much does the first meeting cost?

The first 30-minute consultation is at no charge. We use it to understand your situation and explain your options before any fees apply.

Is conveyancing fixed-fee?

Yes. For property and conveyancing matters we agree a fixed fee before work begins, so you know the cost upfront.

What should I bring to the first consultation?

Any relevant documents you have, such as correspondence, contracts, a will, or details of your family situation. It is fine to come with questions only.

How long does a family law or conveyancing matter take?

Timelines depend on the matter and whether it is agreed or contested. We give you a realistic estimate once we understand the detail.

Is what I tell you confidential?

Yes. Everything you discuss with us is confidential, whether or not you go on to engage our services.

Do you offer mediation instead of going to court?

Yes. Mediation can resolve family and property disputes without the cost and time of court, where both parties are willing.
